Government of Japan offers MEXT Japanese Government Scholarship for undergraduate students hosted in Japan. Fully funded undergraduate, master's, and PhD scholarships in Japan.

The program is designed to develop future leaders and researchers by giving them access to world-class institutions, faculty, and peer networks.

Applicants must

• Hold (or be about to complete) a master's degree qualifying for undergraduate study
• Meet the English-language proficiency requirements of the host institution
• Demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a clear return-on-investment for their home country or field
• Submit a competitive personal statement, research proposal (where applicable), and academic references

• Full tuition covered by the funder
• Living stipend: Monthly stipend
• Access to a lifelong alumni network of scholars and leaders
• Career development, mentoring, and networking events
• Travel and settling-in allowance where applicable
