Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 13 July 2026

This AUP is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to the website, the mobile experience, and every request to the public API.

1. Prohibited content and behaviour

You may not use Talenthic to:

  • Post, request, or promote roles that discriminate on protected characteristics or violate applicable labour law.
  • Post or request unpaid work misrepresented as paid, MLM schemes, or "pay to apply" scams.
  • Harass, dox, threaten, or defame any person or company.
  • Upload, link to, or distribute malware, phishing pages, or credential harvesters.
  • Impersonate another person, employer, recruiter, or Talenthic.

2. Automated access

  • Do not scrape the website HTML. Use the public API instead — it is faster, cheaper, and cache-friendly.
  • Do not attempt to evade rate limits (multiple keys, rotating IPs, distributed callers acting as one client).
  • Respect robots.txt and any X-Robots-Tag we serve.

3. API key hygiene

  • Keep keys server-side. Never ship them in browser bundles, mobile app binaries, or public repositories.
  • One key per production environment. Rotate a key immediately if you suspect leak.
  • You are responsible for all requests made with your key.

4. Redistribution & derivatives

  • Attribute Talenthic when you display our data in a public product.
  • Forward employer takedown notices we relay to you within 72 hours.
  • Do not train a general-purpose foundation model on our API responses without a written agreement. Task-specific fine-tuning inside your product is fine.

5. Security research

Coordinated disclosure is welcome. Email inknamestudio@gmail.com with a proof-of-concept and give us 90 days before public disclosure. Do not:

  • Access data that is not yours.
  • Run DoS or high-volume fuzzing against production without prior arrangement.
  • Use social engineering against staff or contractors.

Good-faith research within these limits will not trigger legal action.

6. Enforcement

We may warn, throttle, suspend, revoke keys, or terminate access for violations — with or without notice depending on severity. Severe or repeat violations may be reported to law enforcement.

7. Reporting abuse

Report a fake job, spam, scam, phishing, or abusive employer to inknamestudio@gmail.com. Include the job URL, the source URL, and a brief description.
